  • A soft brush or sponge
  • A clean towel

Here is a simple guide on how to clean a coffee pot with Vinegar. Follow these steps and you will have a shining coffee pot in no time!

Total cleaning time: 15 minutes

  1. Fill your coffee pot with undiluted Vinegar

    Fill your coffee pot with undiluted Vinegar. If you don’t have enough Vinegar to fill the entire coffee pot use water to dilute it.

  2. Let it stand for at least 10 minutes

    Let the coffee pot with the Vinegar stand for about 10 minutes. In case you are not in a hurry; the longer you let it stand, the better.

  3. Use a brush or sponge to remove coffee stains

    Use a soft brush or sponge to remove all the coffee stains inside the coffee pot. If the stains are too hard to remove, repeat the first two steps until all dirt is removed.

  4. Dry your coffee pot with a towel

    It is important to thoroughly dry your coffee pot with a clean towel. If you don’t do this step you will have a chance of rust formation inside the pot.

  5. Store your coffee pot upside down

    Once your pot is clean and dry, store it away upside down in a dry space. This will ensure that any leftover water will drain down.

To clean your coffee pot without vinegar, mix one cup of water with a quarter cup of Baking soda. Let it stand for about 5-10 minutes. After that follow the steps in the guide above.
